Terms of Service

Philomena provides an online platform that enables couples to create and host personalized wedding websites. Features may include wedding details pages, RSVP management, guest messages, photo galleries, and optional gift or donation collection.

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use related to wedding events.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain ownership of all content you upload or submit through the Service (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you grant Philomena a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

Wedding websites created using the Service may be publicly accessible via a link or subdomain. You are solely responsible for determining what information is made public and acknowledge that public content may be accessed by third parties beyond Philomena’s control.

Access to the Service is provided for a one-time fee of ₦50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) per wedding website.

There are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Payment must be completed before the Service is fully activated. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and Philomena does not store payment card or banking details.

Philomena offers a 24-hour money-back guarantee starting from the time payment is confirmed. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours through official support channels. After this period, all payments are final and non-refundable.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
• Uploading malicious software, spam, or abusive content
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• Interfering with the security or operation of the Service

Philomena reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, designs, branding, and platform features, are owned by Philomena or its licensors.

Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Philomena does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Philomena may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Philomena shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the Service. Philomena’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service.

Your use of the Service is subject to Philomena’s Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Philomena may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
